Question: Q: Radeon RX Vega 64 or 56 in Mac Pro 2012? I think the question says it all. Theoretically, the Vega 64 and 56 should work under macOS High Sierra, since they will be in the new iMac Pro, and according to this article, they work in an eGPU enclosure on a 2016 MBP. My RX560 Sapphire 4gb is not recognized by the team. When I try to load the system from the external graphic, it releases several beeps and does not show an image. If I enter through the integrated graphics, the device manager does not recognize the external graphic. In some places they suggest.
I own a MacPro 2012. I followed the recommandation of Apple to install the MSI Radeon RX560 so that I will be able to run Mojave. I must say, the RX560 and Mojave are running very well on my Mac, in fact it's the best combination experience on this Mac ever. I love it! Thank You Apple and MSI! At any rate, there is one small issue. Most if not all people using MacPro's with 3rd party graphics cards know that the Mac screen is blank while booting up and remains that way to just about the time when you reach the login screen. I understand it may be due to the non Apple firmware associated with the graphics card. Does Apple or anyone have sollution which will allow the system to boot as it does with the previous graphics card? Firmware? Driver? I'd like to be able to use preboot option commands, drive slections, pram, etc. which will make the experence complete.

Graphics card requirements
Final Cut Pro, Motion 5, and Compressor 4 require a graphics card that supports Metal, an Apple technology that lets the system and apps efficiently tap into the capabilities of today’s graphics processors (GPUs). If you're editing 4K video, using 3D titles, or editing 360º video, 1GB of VRAM is recommended.
